【Molecular formula and weight】C₅₁H₄₃N₁₃O₁₂S₆   1222

【Character】This product is light yellowish-brown, or yellow-brown powder, with special odor. Pure grade product melting point is 310~320℃. It is soluble in dimethyl formamide, slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone and trichloromethane. And it is not soluble in water.

【Pharmacological action】Nosiheptide belongs to antibiotics. And in low concentration it can control the bacteria, however while in high concentration, it can kill the bacteria via preventing bacteria protein synthesis. And it is hardly to be digested in animal intestine during mixed feeding, and there is almost no residue in animal product.

【Indication】Growth promotion for swine and poultry.

【Features】

1. Remarkable effect.

Nosiheptide can control gram-positive bacterium growth at a low concentration, then decrease jejunum and ileum wall thickness and recess depth, increase intestinal villus height, and to improve intestinal wall absorption fuction, hence advance feed utilization for growth promotion. Besides, Nosiheptide has good precaution and cure effect on necrotic enteritis and water stool disease, and it can also control some double link type DNA virus.

2.High safety.

No carcinogenesis, no teratogenesis, and no mutagenesis phenomenon. 50 times recommended dosage in Mouse daily ration for 3 months continuously, no toxic accumulation founded in blood and biochemical test, no harm to gene. And no irritation to skin, or mucous membrane, it is very safe to use in mixed feeding and in service.

3. Very low residue.

Nosiheptide belongs to non-absorption type feed additives, very less absorption during mixed feeding, most of Nosiheptide are excreted. Add 2 times recommended dosage in daily rotation, during administration period and after 0~7 days of withdrawal time, detectable amount is less than minimum detectable limit in liver, muscle, spleen and heart.

4. Hard to generate drug resistance.

Nosiheptide is not easy to generate drug resistance caused by R- plasmid, and no cross resistance were founded with other antibiotic at present.

5. Green environmental feed additives.

Nosiheptide has very low influence on environment. Use animal faces as fertilizer on plant, no Nosiheptide residue were founded from fruits. Nosiheptide has inhibiting effect to some algae, but no effect to advanced plant. No obvious effect to herbicide, or insecticide.
